Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their financial inquiries and account needs.
- Cross-sell bank products, including credit cards, savings accounts, and safe deposit boxes.
- Identify and refer cross-sell opportunities to branch managers or loan officers.
- Handle cash drawers, reconcile daily reports, and ensure strict adherence to cash control policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional teller line area.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including vault security.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software (e.g., FIS, FISERV).
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
