Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and services, and provide high-quality customer service.
- Compliance & Security: Verify customer identity and secure documents in accordance with strict Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and regulatory guidelines.
- Product Sales: Identify sales opportunities and cross-sell our suite of financial products, including CDs, IRAs, and credit cards.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate daily cash drawers, balance teller lines, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Operational Support: Assist in maintaining branch security, organizing lobby areas, and performing general clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cash handling, retail, or customer service experience.
- Skills: Strong math aptitude, proficiency with MS Office, and ability to use bank-specific software (e.g., FIS) quickly.
- Attributes: Professional demeanor, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensure: Must be bondable and willing to undergo a background check and credit screening.
