Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Cash handling: Count, verify, and balance cash drawers daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by providing outstanding service and addressing inquiries.
- Cross-sell banking products such as credit cards, mortgages, and personal loans to meet branch goals.
- Maintain strict compliance with all bank policies, regulations, and security procedures.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining account features to clients.
- Ensure the branch lobby and work areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in retail banking, cash handling, or customer service is preferred.
- Must be bondable and pass a background check and credit check.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank software systems.
