Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bank Teller to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our teller line. You will be responsible for processing transactions, managing cash drawers, and building relationships with our community members.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide a positive, professional banking experience.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products, such as CDs and savings accounts, to meet sales goals.
- Verify cash and check accuracy and maintain strict security protocols.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Balance daily teller transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous cash handling experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Fraud awareness and strict adherence to bank policies and procedures.
