Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Manage time and attendance data integration with HR systems
- Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax filings and year-end forms
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and finance leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, and Excel pivot tables
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or PHR certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of California wage orders and tax codes
- Proven track record with multi-state payroll compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and error-prevention skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with absolute confidentiality
