Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/annual reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Implement and optimize payroll systems (ADP experience preferred)
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with exceptional service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPP certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
