As a Bank Teller, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients. You will handle daily transactions, resolve inquiries, and contribute to the community's financial well-being. Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Open and close new savings and checking accounts, explaining products clearly.
- Operate teller equipment and software (e.g., Core Banking Systems) efficiently.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products and services.
- Adhere to strict compliance and security regulations (BSA/AML).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental math quickly.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A professional demeanor and a strong desire to learn.
