Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving account inquiries.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in opening new accounts and cross-selling our suite of financial products.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and security procedures.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to branch management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or banking experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with banking software and computer systems is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
- Valid driver's license is not required but may be beneficial for local branch travel.
