Responsibilities
- Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the teller window.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and basic financial product education.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Maintain accurate daily cash reconciliation and balancing of the teller drawer.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and credit card terminals with precision.
- Assist with lobby operations, including managing wait times and directing customers to appropriate service desks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with Windows-based applications.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial transactions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Money Services Business (MSB) license or background check clearance.
