Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Build rapport with customers, answering questions and resolving issues with professionalism and patience.
- Operate teller terminal and point-of-sale (POS) systems to complete transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce customers to our range of banking products and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment in accordance with bank security policies.
- Assist with lobby management, including guiding customers to the appropriate service desk.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate).
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to balance a drawer to the penny.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check as part of our hiring process.
