Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards and savings accounts, to meet branch goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances, transaction histories, and bank policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller workstation.
- Assist in branch security procedures and compliance with bank regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank management software.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
