Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, handling deposits, and withdrawals, and processing loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans, to meet branch sales goals.
- Verify and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the branch manager when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Follow all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards (BSA/AML).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software (e.g., FIS, Mosaic).
- Must pass a background check and a credit check.
