Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Process a high volume of financial transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances, products, and services, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining the security and organization of the branch lobby and teller area.
- Utilize banking software and technology to manage customer accounts efficiently.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle complex calculations with precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for travel between branches.
