Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain a precise cash drawer and reconcile daily settlements.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries and product information.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products and services.
- Ensure the teller station is clean, organized, and secure at all times.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex matters to the branch manager.
- Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong math skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic proficiency with computerized banking systems.
