Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Cross-sell our banking products, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, to meet individual client needs.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports to ensure all funds are accounted for.
- Assist in opening new accounts and guiding customers through the onboarding process.
- Adhere to strict bank security protocols and compliance regulations to prevent fraud and errors.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team members to optimize branch operations and customer flow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large sums of money with absolute accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking certifications.
