Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Maintain and update vendor master files, ensuring all contact information and banking details are current.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors promptly.
- Prepare and issue weekly payments via ACH and wire transfers.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting requirements.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status in a professional manner.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a high volume of transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or CPA preferred.
