Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the AP workflow using our ERP system, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status, inquiries, and billing issues.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both electronic and hard copy documentation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounts payable best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
