Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing payments.
- Process accounts payable transactions, including checks, electronic funds transfers (EFT), and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the AP inbox, ensuring timely responses to vendor inquiries and supporting documentation requests.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing accurate AP reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for vendor interaction.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during night shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
