Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing to guarantee timely and accurate weekly disbursements.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Process and maintain accurate general ledger entries and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in the United States.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced weekly payroll environment.
