Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax filings and ensure all necessary documentation is organized.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify errors or areas for cost savings.
- Collaborate with the HR and Operations teams to assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (candidates with a strong internship background will also be considered).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (required).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
