Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate tax filings.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- 3+ years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and basic tax principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
