Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records and resolve discrepancies with HR department
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposit setups
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile payroll accounts monthly with general ledger
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with weekly pay cycles
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software
- Strong knowledge of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
