Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and send weekly invoices to clients to ensure timely cash flow.
- Perform monthly payroll processing to guarantee employees are paid on time every week.
- Maintain and update the general ledger and financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
