Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with high precision.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement on a weekly basis.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict weekly deadlines consistently.
