Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process weekly payroll and ensure all statutory deductions are calculated correctly.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure full compliance with UK tax laws, HMRC regulations, and accounting standards.
- Generate and send invoices to clients and manage accounts receivable.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT) or significant experience in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid right to work in the UK is essential.
