Job Summary
As our Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with GAAP and providing insightful financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and assist in the month-end close process.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
