Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital ledgers using Xero/QuickBooks with daily reconciliation
- Process weekly payroll for 15-20 clients with HMRC compliance
- Generate monthly management reports with variance analysis
- Manage VAT returns and quarterly tax filings
- Optimize cash flow forecasting for portfolio clients
- Train clients on accounting software best practices
- Ledger cleanup and historical data migration projects
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent bookkeeping certification
- 3+ years UK bookkeeping experience with SMEs
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables/VBA) and Xero proficiency
- Proven HMRC compliance record
- Weekly payroll processing expertise
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Relevant degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
