Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing invoices and payments efficiently.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and process payroll for weekend staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly financial reports and balance sheets for management review.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update general ledger accounts and financial databases with precision.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records adhere to company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; high school diploma with equivalent experience considered.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial team members.
