Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Maintain accurate financial records and perform month-end and year-end close procedures on weekends.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- AP/AR: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday).
