Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the company's general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor invoicing and collections.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models and forecasting reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance (preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
