We pride ourselves on accuracy and efficiency. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our financial flow, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining healthy relationships with our business partners.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices (AP) with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Manage the accounts payable ledger, including matching purchase orders to invoices.
- Handle month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and adjusting entries.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payment timelines.
- Maintain and organize AP files, both digital and physical, in compliance with company policy.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to input data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Experience working a Weekend Shift is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop/Online or NetSuite is required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor interaction.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during busy periods.
