Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile weekly financial transactions across multiple accounts
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports for management review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain vendor/client relationships
- Utilize Xero/QuickBooks for bookkeeping duties and data entry
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and year-end preparations
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience in a UK-based environment
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
- AAT Level 3/4 certification or equivalent accounting qualification
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous weekend shift experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
