Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy.
- AP & AR: Process accounts payable invoices and manage accounts receivable collections.
- General Ledger: Maintain accurate general ledger records and assist with monthly financial reporting.
- Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry with a focus on minimizing errors and maintaining data integrity.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reconciliation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
