Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and VAT returns
- Manage payroll processing for weekend staff
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (2+ years)
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- UK-based accounting software knowledge essential
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts
