Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end financial close procedures on weekends to ensure timely reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates open to weekend shifts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex financial problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
