Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-of-week financial closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures to meet regulatory deadlines.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable tasks during weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
