Responsibilities
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with precision
- Provide personalized financial guidance to members regarding accounts, services, and digital banking tools
- Resolve account inquiries and disputes efficiently while maintaining compliance with banking regulations
- Actively promote credit union products and services to support members' financial goals
- Balance cash drawers and daily transactions with strict attention to detail
- Collaborate with branch team to ensure seamless member experiences
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to build relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or cash handling experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to financial accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proficiency in banking software and digital platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous credit union or banking experience preferred
