Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and fixed asset schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and review payroll reports for the weekend workforce.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Utilize accounting software to resolve discrepancies and maintain audit trails.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
