As an AP Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our clients by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications. Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently during the night cycle.
- Match purchase orders to receiving reports and invoices to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accounts payable activities.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues and answer inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in high-volume data.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
