Responsibilities
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- Process weekend payroll transactions and expense reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and VAT submissions
- Manage accounts payable/receivable for weekend transactions
- Prepare financial reports for senior management review
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of UK accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks software
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven experience with weekend or shift-based financial roles
