Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations and financial reporting for assigned client portfolios
- Process weekend payroll transactions and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements and compliance documentation for weekend audits
- Collaborate with weekday finance teams to ensure seamless month-end closures
- Implement internal controls for weekend financial operations
- Provide weekend client support for accounting inquiries and system troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and error detection
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Nebraska CPA license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
