The Role:
In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. You will work closely with our operations team to maintain the fiscal health of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist auditors during the year-end audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or shift-based role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
