Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the weekly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and government reports.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and digital archives for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a specific focus on month-end or weekend close processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, US tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a high degree of integrity.
- Must be available to work a consistent Saturday and Sunday schedule.
