- Execute weekend-end month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Process high-volume transactional accounting entries with zero tolerance for errors
- Prepare and analyze weekend financial reports for senior leadership review
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict compliance checks
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support weekend VAT submissions and regulatory compliance documentation
- Maintain weekend financial controls and audit trail documentation
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend exposure
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting systems
- Deep understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC weekend filing requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven reconciliation accuracy
- Strong analytical skills for weekend variance investigation
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekend supervision
- Excellent written communication for weekend reporting deliverables
