Responsibilities
- Process weekend accounts payable/receivable transactions with 100% accuracy
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare weekend financial reports for executive review
- Assist with quarterly VAT submissions and tax compliance
- Maintain digital financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Collaborate with weekday accounting team for operational continuity
- Conduct weekend payroll processing for hourly staff
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
