Responsibilities
- Manage weekend financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Perform month-end and quarter-end closing procedures during weekend shifts
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements with accounting records
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage and QuickBooks software
- Support audit preparation and documentation
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts essential)
