Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile weekend financial transactions with precision
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for weekend staff
- Generate weekend-specific financial reports and statements
- Assist with month-end closing procedures during weekend shifts
- Handle accounts payable and receivable for weekend operations
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Collaborate with weekday finance team on cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Proven weekend availability and reliability
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
