Responsibilities
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for client portfolio
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and weekend tax filings
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior team members on financial analysis projects
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks platforms
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
