Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP standards
- Oversee weekend financial operations including transaction processing and journal entries
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for executive review
- Collaborate with weekday teams to ensure continuity of financial operations
- Maintain accurate digital records using Xero and QuickBooks platforms
- Support audit preparations and regulatory compliance documentation
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in UK financial environment
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel with pivot tables
- Demonstrated knowledge of UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and VAT compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
