Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for various general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Process and review journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals to maintain the integrity of the financial statements.
- Assist with the monthly and quarterly close processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Support the internal audit process by providing requested documentation and explanations for account activity.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts, investigating and resolving any variances.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial records, both physical and digital.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general ledger functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
